Resources

The Douglas County Election Commission provides materials and other information to election workers, so they can administer elections properly and fairly.

Election Manual

An Election Manual is provided to each poll worker at training and each precinct on Election Day. The manual contains detailed instructions for each poll worker position and covers basic procedures, such as setting up the polling place, assembling voting booths, processing voters, and closing the polls. It also addresses how to handle specific problems or questions that may be asked during Election Day. We highly recommend poll workers familiarize themselves with the manual. Most issues and questions on Election Day can be answered by the manual.

*The Election Manual is available to download approximately 6 weeks prior to each election.
